The Pheasant Castle Well Beyond 130 Years Now

Fasaanilinna - "Pheasant Castle" - designed by the renowned late 19th century architects Kiseleff and Heikel, celebrated her 130th anniversary in 2005 by introducing a rich flower market fusing the elements of wellknown flower markets in e.g. Amsterdam and Rome. The flower market was open for three successive days in September 2006. Last year we just took a sabbatical planning round for 2008.

Situated in the old downtown "Pheasant Quarters", Fasaanilinna is located a few minutes' walk from Kaivopuisto Park seaside, Kluuvi financial district and Helsinki university in the vicinity of the Esplanade Park close to the old harbour. We preserve our Neo-Renaissance heritage of good quality city apartments and boutique shop space in the interesting "Design District" area in the heart of the City.

"Located in the centre of Helsinki, the new Design District is an area full of design and antique shops, fashion stores, museums, art galleries, restaurants and showrooms."
